National Art Gallery in Islamabad, Pakistan is the country’s first national art gallery. Built on a small hillock opposite the Majlis-e-Shoora (the Parliament of Pakistan) and the Aiwan-e-Sadr (the President’s House). It opened to the public for the first time on Sunday, August 26, 2007. PNCA is responsible for promoting culture, arts, music, film and theatre in Pakistan
PNCA- is well known for holding exhibitions and theatres regularly that attracts many individuals related to these fields. It aims to build a robust arts ecosystem by creating an environment conducive to the flourishing of the arts, where the arts are accessible to everyone and artists and art groups have the commitment, financial support and resources, and to excel at home, and on the world stage. PNCA policies are framed by its Board of Governors which reports to the federal Minister for National Heritage and Integration within the Ministry of Culture.
Valuable artwork of many well known artists of Pakistan and international origins are held here, artworks can also be bough and sold. Families can visit for educational trip, university and school trips are also conducted here regularly. PNCA is visited by adults or young adults that come from art, music or theatre, who also work with PNCA to increase awareness of art and other related fields to the general public by holding exhibitions, music festival and theatre.

اسلام آباد، پاکستان میں نیشنل آرٹ گیلری ملک کی پہلی قومی آرٹ گیلری ہے۔ مجلس شوریٰ (پاکستان کی پارلیمنٹ) اور ایوان صدر (ایوان صدر) کے سامنے ایک چھوٹی پہاڑی پر بنایا گیا ہے۔ یہ پہلی بار اتوار، 26 اگست 2007 کو عوام کے لیے کھولا گیا۔ PNCA پاکستان میں ثقافت، فنون، موسیقی، فلم اور تھیٹر کو فروغ دینے کا ذمہ دار ہے۔
- نمائشوں اور تھیٹروں کے باقاعدگی سے انعقاد کے لیے مشہور ہے جو ان شعبوں سے متعلق بہت سے افراد کو اپنی طرف متوجہ کرتا ہے۔ اس کا مقصد فنون لطیفہ کے فروغ کے لیے سازگار ماحول پیدا کر کے ایک مضبوط آرٹس ایکو سسٹم کی تعمیر کرنا ہے، جہاں فنون ہر ایک کے لیے قابل رسائی ہوں اور فنکاروں اور آرٹ گروپس کے پاس عزم، مالی مدد اور وسائل بھی ہوں، ۔ عالمی سٹیج آف گورنرز کے ذریعے تیار کی جاتی ہیں جو وزارت ثقافت کے اندر وفاقی وزیر برائے قومی ورثہ اور انٹیگریشن کو رپورٹ کرتا ہے۔
یہاں پاکستان کے بہت سے معروف اور بین الاقوامی فنکاروں کے قیمتی فن پارے رکھے گئے ہیں، فن پارے خرید کر فروخت بھی کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔ اہل خانہ تعلیمی سفر کے لیے جا سکتے ہیں، یونیورسٹی اور اسکول کے دورے بھی یہاں باقاعدگی سے کیے جاتے ہیں۔
